Chancellors Diploma - Class of 2019 and Beyond
In addition to the standard diploma, students can work towards a Chancellor's Diploma or Honors Graduate status. Essential Skills
Students also must demonstrate their mastery of the Essential Skills. Currently, three of the Essential Skills are graduation requirements:
- Read and comprehend a variety of text
- Write clearly and accurately
- Apply mathematics in a variety of settings
Students are tested primarily by using the SBAC test. In the spring of a student's 11th grade year, they will complete work samples in core classes. If the student meets the standard in their work sample, it can be used as alternative to meet the Essential Skills requirement.
