Early College High School
The Hillsboro School District’s Early College program is a great way for 11th and 12 grade students to spend the rest of high school as a college student due to a partnership with Portland Community College. HSD Early College allows access to motivated and capable high school students to earn high school and college credit simultaneously while attending PCC full time.
As a full-time college student, the Early College program requires self-discipline (college expectations require independence and self-management) and the motivation to succeed and push through challenges,
Students may still participate in athletics and activities at their home high school, as well as choose to “walk” at graduation with their home high school!
Please attend a required parent information night (students may attend any orientation session):
Contact your school counselor to see if HSD Early College is a good fit, or contact HSD Early College Advisor, Anya Hershberger, with questions about your application or the selection process: [email protected]
