She spent several years teaching in Salem before relocating to Colorado in 2019, where she began her Master's in School Counseling at the University of Denver. Rebecca is delighted to be back in Oregon where she lives with her husband, Christian, and their cat, Bast. In her spare time, you can find her creating art, songwriting, and performing folk music. He served as a Bilingual Family Support Advocate for Latino migrant families in Tacoma Public Schools; as a Counselor for HopeSparks, a child and family counseling agency; as a Therapist and Clinical Case Manager for Greater Lakes Mental Healthcare, a non-profit community mental health agency, and also served as a Social Worker at the VA working with homeless Veterans and their families during the past 3 years. He lives in Hillsboro with his husband Therman and their cat Penny. He loves the theater, movies, music concerts, walking, cooking and baking desserts. He finds it exciting to come back to work for the schools and to help all of the students at Glencoe. |
