College Visits
Visiting college campuses as you enter your junior and senior year, will help make your college selection. Take advantage of the great summer weather to go explore! Many colleges run campus tours throughout the week. To sign up for a tour, visit the college or universities website and look under the "admissions" section.
Some of Oregon's private institutions have coordinated a week in July to celebrate campus visits. This year, the festivities begin July 25th and end on July 29th. This event is free to the public, but you do need to register before you attend. To learn more about the program or register, please visit http://oregonprivatecolleges.com/.
TIP: Before you attend a tour, research the institution! Campus tours are a great time for you to ask questions about campus life. Look into campus housing, activities and the businesses near by. The tour guide might have some great tips on good study locations on campus or a good restaurant near by.
